The camp rules are designed to ensure the safety of all our guests.  They are designed to help insure that campers have an enjoyable stay at Sands Of Time. 

• Check in time is 12:30 PM

• Check Out Time is 12 PM

• Late Check Out Fee is 1/2 the daily Rate and is good up until 6 PM.

• We will leave a map on the office door for late arrivals.  You MUST Register No Later than 10 AM

• If you would like to extend your stay office must be notified no later than 10AM.  Tents left on the site after 12 Noon will be removed from the site.

• SPEED LIMIT 5 MPH

• Parents are responsible for the care and safety of their children. 

• Bicycles are welcome as long as they are ridden on the road.  Children are not to cut thru campsites

• No Wheelies as it digs up the gravel roads. 

• Sorry NO Clotheslines other than those attached to camper.  No Lines to be tied to trees, poles, or picnic tables.  This rule is set by Liability Insurance Company.

• No Open Campfires.  A fire ring for all campers is located at front of the park.  Please do not sit charcoal grills on the picnic tables, as the heat burns the tables.

• Washing of vehicles or campers at the camp site is NOT PERMITTED.  We have provided a water hose at the dump station that you are welcome to use for this purpose. We are limited to the # of gallons of city water that we can use per month.

• NO FIREWORKS

• Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean and placing all trash in dumpster.

• Pets are Welcome.  They must be kept on leashes at all times.  Do not tie your pet out and leave unattended.  Be a Good Camper and CLEAN UP After Your Pet.  Pets are not allowed in the bathhouse.  Absolutely NO MORE than 2 Dogs.  No Guard Type Dogs.

• No Tents on RV Sites unless first approved by the manager.

• No More than 2 vehicles per site.

• ONE Picnic Table per site.  PLEASE don't take tables from other sites.

• NO SMOKING In Restrooms

• Fish Cleaning Table is provided for your convenience.  NO TRASH (paper, bottles, fishhooks, plastic) to be placed in can at Fish Cleaning Table.  This can is for FISH SCRAPES ONLY.  Be a good neighbor and wash down table after use.

• Modem hook up (at office) is for your convenience to check email.  PLEASE LIMIT your time to 10 minutes.

• QUIET TIME 11 PM - 7 AM

• CANCELLATION POLICY: We will reserve your site and ask if you have a change in plans to call us ASAP so we can free up the site for another camper.  If you would like to change the number of days reserved you need to call at least 24 hours prior to check-in. At check-in you will be responsible for all days reserved if you are a club member you will forfeit discount and will be charged full price.

          NO REFUNDS for early departure for any reason other than a Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation order issued by Dare County.
